While I spend plenty of time following my own whims and adventures on canvas, I also live for the challenge of creating a custom landscape, portrait, or still life to fit your vision. Whether it’s to commemorate a special place, celebrate your favorite season, or see your own face in a brand new light, a unique, customized painting can be a perfect gift for yourself and others. 1: Send me a note, and we’ll get the conversation going. I’ll ask you about who the painting is for, what the occasion is, and when you need it by. Most of my paintings are 4″x4″, 6″x6″, 8″x10″, or 11″x14″, but I’m more than happy to work on whatever size canvas suits your needs. If you’re not sure about something, don’t worry! We’ll talk it through.
2: If you’re commissioning a specific landscape or person, you’ll send me some photos to work from. If your idea is less specific, we’ll talk about style, color palette, and inspiration, until you know exactly what you’re looking for. (That part is always really fun!)
3: We finalize the price, you send me a 50% deposit on your painting, and I get straight to work! Please allow 3-5 weeks (depending on the size) plus shipping time to receive your finished piece.
4: I will send you a digital image of the painting before it is completed, to make sure you still like how it’s going. After all, this is your painting, and I want you to love it to bits.
5: You pay the remaining balance on your painting, and I drop the finished piece in the mail. Standard shipping cost is added to the price of the painting. If you need it rush, we can work that out too!
6: You receive your beautiful, original painting, hang it on your wall, and make all your friends jealous.
